 The District Administration, in collaboration with ‘School of Skills Development in Hospitality (SSDH)’, is going to introduce a training program in Hospitality in Gurgaon. The training will not only be completely free, the trainees will even get some cash incentive on successful completion of the training.  DC Satyaprakash said that SSDH would train at least one thousand youth in a year in Hospitality. Interested persons should contact the office of the Institute at 16/6, H Block, DLF Phase-I, Gurgaon, phone number 0124- 4063752 (or Saurabh at 9999605207). The training is being imparted under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna (PKVY). Under this Central Government scheme, about 24 lakhs youth across the country would get the opportunity of being trained in skills required in various industries. Apart from cash prizes, the successful candidates would also get a certificate. The Director of SSDH, Sangeeta Ranjit, apprised that further information on the scheme could be obtained by contacting the nearest Skill Development Center, calling 08800055555, or checking out www.pmkvyofficial.org or www.facebook.com/PMKVYOfficial. She said that SSDH is affiliated with the Tourism & Hospitality Skill Development Council, which is functioning under National Skill Development Council (NSDC). The website of the Institute is www.ssdh.co.in. She added that the registration of interested candidates would be undertaken at SSDH from 1st to 10th of every month. SSDH will remain open from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm daily on all working days. For registration, one must have an Aadhaar Card and a Bank Account. There will be both morning and evening sessions, and each batch will be of 30 students. The training will be of two months duration, in Restaurant Service Operations or Hospitality.
