All teachers (from Grade 1 to 12)  of Ryan International School, Sohna Road  attended a ‘Life Skills’ workshop organised by CBSE. The trainer explained that Life Skills is a multi-faceted concept, entailing social, emotional and thinking skills.

Learning Life’s Skills

Ryan International School, Sector 40 arranged for a CBSE workshop on ‘Life Skills’ for its Class I to VII teachers. The Workshop helped build the teachers’ capacities to evaluate the co-scholastic aspects of CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) - including attitude, values and health and wellness. 

Ryan Wheelies
Ryan International School, Sector 40 participated in the Inter Ryan Skating Championship held in Delhi and won great laurels. Arshelle Raheja of Class IV won a Silver medal, while T.A Shreyas from Class IV, Aditya from Class V and Siddhant Magon from Class VII won a Bronze each.

Bonfire Song & Dance
Ryan International School, Sector 40 Montessori wing organised an activity bonafire to mark the harvest festival ‘Lohri’. Students danced and sang to peppy music. Popcorn, peanuts and sweets like ‘gajak’ and ‘rewari’  were distributed to the students. The teachers explained the scientific & social importance of the festival. The students gathered around the bonfire and enjoyed the delicacies. 

Culture & Heritage
Students of Grade III, Ryan Global School, Sector 40 demonstrated the rich culture and heritage of India through various activities.

Good Graciousness
Ryan International School Sector 40 held a special assembly to inculcate the value of graciousness in the students by dramatising a Bible enactment - ‘Graciousness can win hearts’. The School Head Ms. Peeya Sharma highlighted that graciousness is kindness, good behaviour, and a certain something that others feel from a person who cares. “It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice,” she reminded the students.

One for All the Betis
Ryan International School, Sector 40 participated in the ‘Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao competition held by the Haryana School Shikshapariyojna Parishad. The students shared thought-provoking ideas in the sixty minutes given to them.
